  April 25, 2023 - I could not identify the primary grape used to make this. This is among the worst wines I have tasted in some years. There are so many wines out there at this price point that would put this to shame I cannot understand how this can be the top selling wine in the U.S. All those who continue to buy this really need to try anything else.

Some bramble on the nose too. Pretty flabby - not much acidity and hardly any tannin. Short finish. Overall too sweet for me but I can see why they move a lot of it. I expect a lot of people at dinner parties describe it as "smooth."

  February 10, 2023 - I felt this was a 88 point wine, but Nance liked the fruit and thought it was 89/90…a very drinkable wine for the price!

  December 10, 2022 - Pours deep purple. Nose has roses, black currant, blackberry, and some cinnamon. Same on the palate. Oak is pretty light and tannins are soft. Good QPR.
