July 24, 2022 - I wanted to try a top example of Feteasca Neagra, probably the most famous red grape in the eastern half of Romania.
Ripe dark plums, blueberries, incense (my eastern orthodox friends said it reminded them of an orthodox church service), balsamic vinegar, cumin, fresh cracked black pepper, caraway and dried leaves. A hint of vanilla from the oak. Medium body, medium tannin and nice acid. Great pairing with Chateaubriand.1 person found this helpful Comment
