Community Tasting Notes 1

March 19, 2010 - Medium ruby core, pale ruby rim. Moderate intensity if quietly attractive nose, showing raspberry fruit, spice, toasty oak and some soil notes. Medium bodied, not particularly generous or deep on the mid-palate, red fruit with notes of soil and even a touch of chocolate, but the finish is fresh and attractive and lingers quite nicely even if it is slightly drying at the tail end. Decent if slightly lightweight wine, for drinking now and over the next couple of years.
