May 27, 2023 - Rich complex Chenin - very accomplished.

September 7, 2022 - This is decent- light and lively with a bitter grapeseed note on the finish and a slightly funky, lactic character. I would not guess this as chenin if blinded although if you lean in there is a bit of honeyed, waxy fruit buried underneath the natural stylization. There’s also just the tiniest hint of mousiness (not at a level that spoils the wine for me) so drink up if this bottle is representative.

January 2, 2022 - Kind of a natty Chenin, a little cloudy, some VA and a little white mushroom funk, nothing too intense. There’s a mint note on the palate with dry apple, lemon, chamomile tea. This has no hint of sucrosity. Good, not great for me.

August 8, 2021 - A tinge of spritz upon opening that blows off relatively with a bit of air. Rich, bold, and oily palate behind perfumed aromatics. Pretty consistent with a nice ‘18 from a few weeks ago.

July 15, 2021 - Little bit of matchstick reduction on the nose with a healthy dose of chenin funk, smoke, and just a touch of brett. Overripe cantaloupe and mangosteen. Palate is smoky and oily. Really tasty and goes down way too easy.
