  March 5, 2012 - Really enjoyed this. Huge fruit that at first you think is going to be overbearing yet seems to not ever go past that point to make it too much. Showing a little signs of age as the rim was bricking and some nice secondary characteristics were starting to emerge. Nice perfumed nose of flowers, dark cherries, rhubarb. Iwish I had more of these.

  February 2, 2010 - deep ruby colour. Great fragrant floral and fruity nose. Huge leather and pepper up front. Good balance. Edgy finish in the back, but nothing to really complain about. What a nice surprise.

  May 29, 2009 - This wine is one of the best values I have found. 10 minutes after opening the wine it was approachable, soft, medium body, nice fruit with a long finish. This is best one to three years after harvest, it is still very good but was better a year ago. Drink now through 2010.

  April 27, 2008 - Just the right amount of ripeness and good balance of fruit and alcohol. Didn't have that roasted or raisin flavor. Good, medium weight wine. would certainly buy again. Very nice zin.
