Community Tasting Notes 3

November 6, 2023 - Wonderful aromas of pine resin, poppy, and cola. This humble Shiraz has aged beautifully and developed really interesting secondary characteristics. Strong leather overtones on a lingering finish. Drinking nicely now.

March 27, 2014 - - Ruby color with medium forming legs with a medium finish - Drank with the Majella red table wine. The Shiraz was fruitier, smoother with good finish

November 13, 2009 - While still good, this bottle was past it's prime. Opened, decanted for sediment, and immediately started drinking. Dark purplely red, with slight browning on the edges. Initially, there was some funk on the nose and palate (not too bad) which blew off after about 30 minutes. For the first hour, the wine was actually drinking nicely, but then (over the course of the next couple hours) the fruit started to taste dried out and the texture became flabby. Drink up..
