September 21, 2013 - Nose of toasted nuts, honey, spice and slight petrol. Refined and subtle palette. Not sweet at all, but very complex. At the end of its sweet spot.

September 29, 2012 - From double magnum. No proper notes, but this is a really impressive wine. Really good, mature and complex!

September 20, 2012 - Decanter Italy Tasting (London): The nose is almost like a Clare Valley Riesling, full of lime, chalk and tension but with a veneer of light smoke. Fascinating palate right from the first sip with a profusion of meadow flowers and ripe fruits with a rich vein of honey and just edging into maturity. There's a remarkable richness to this wine that apparently doesn't see any oak ageing or undergo any malo, but perhaps that explains the clean and focussed acidity that balances the wine beautifully. Elegant whilst retaining an electrifying power that suggests there is more to come.

February 3, 2004 - Yellow to bright gold in color. Strong and pleasant aromas of flowers, lemon and some apricot. I liked the aromas, and found them to be refreshing. Medium body, with good concentration. Flavors of honey and some cider, loaded with soft minerals. Acidic and fresh, yet heavy and “winey”. Oak is there, but in the background. Nicely balanced, with average to good fruitiness. Very long finish, with a solid aftertaste. Overall, a refreshing, tasty and well-structured white wine, but definitely nothing outstanding. Very drinkable and enjoyable now, but can cellar longer. 92/100

A touch of info: Vintage Tunina is white blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istrian and Picolit. Jermann Vinnaioli is an Italian producer from the region of Friuli Venezia Giluia.
