May 7, 2023 - This has progressed beautifully in a year and a half. Where it was previously stern, harsh, and rustic, it now has luscious cherry fruit and a satisfying roundness. Nicely harmonious.Still maintains the structure and acidity to keep it very food friendly. I've gone from ignoring this wine to now being quite interested in buying it again when it crosses my path. It just needed some time to come together.

November 19, 2022 - Very acidic on first opening. Almost harsh. Came into its own after 30 min. Was great with pizza. Good Tuesday bottle.

December 15, 2021 - Quite a stern and rustic Dolcetto here. Reticent on fruit, with sharp tannins and strong acidity. Okay with food but not very pleasant solo. Should give the other bottle a couple of years.
