  November 23, 2023 - Pre-dinner thanksgiving drink. Drank back-to-back with the 2017. I liked the 2018 better. Fuller body, smoother, and more fruit forward. BUT, does have a rubber aroma on the nose that was off-putting to some tasters. But overall, well balanced and excellent quality.

  January 28, 2023 - Black Pepper! Overpowers fruit but it's also extremely good with white sharp cheddar cheese, Boars Head Pepperoni, and herb salt crackers. Wow, what a flavor!!! Mmmmm mmmm!

  September 10, 2022 - Drank on a Saturday night sitting at home. Drank with Hatch Chili beef and rice. Pepper and spice on the nose, nice dark color, and decent balance. It’s excellent for the price, but gets an 89 because the pepper and spice overpowers the fruit and lingers. A little too spicy on the palate for me.
