February 16, 2024 - Almost amber. The tiniest of bubbles. Sherry flavors with notes of autumn apples. Luxurious. Erika preferred the 2012. Good. More for me. Haha

November 4, 2023 - Phenomenal 93! Perfect blend of aged nose, perfect tiny bubbles and clean a sharp acidity. Leans More on the mineralization/yeasty side of the equation vs ripe fruit. 93+

October 7, 2023 - Opened by Allred. From the excellent 2008 vintage. 100% Ay Grand Cru made up of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. 1st time with this wine But I've had the 2004 Special Club a couple times and really enjoyed it. Clear straw color. Lower bead. Showing well with green apple, lemon and doughy notes. 93 points.

October 6, 2023 - Cab Showdown: Michigan v West Coast (Chateau Vino Me): Our first of three, opened with Vino Me, billhike, otisabdul and our wives. Lighter color than the preceding 2012 Salmon with a slightly more aggressive mousse. Notes of pear, red apple, brioche and ginger. Fine bead. Orchard and red berry fruit dominate the palate with hints of dried dough and citrus in the finish. Excellent.
