  August 25, 2023 - Reminded me of Sapience. Hard to believe this was 100% chardonnay, but a beauty. Would love to try the 2013 (my favorite recent champagne vintage!).
  
  This was chiseled. A wonderful display of balance, acidity and a long finish that continued to echo. So much so that I thought for sure this had pinot meunier, much to my shock, nope.
  
  I would buy more if the price wasn't so unpalatable. Nice pun. However, I had 2013 Cristal recently and must say this wasn't far behind it. This was more complex for sure with more backbone. Cristal was smoother and more elegant. Will need to go head to head blind. Just a matter of preference. Would think most would gravitate to the elegance of Cristal while the old schoolers will come this way.

  February 10, 2023 - 2nd time drinking this in 1.5 months. Lovely high tone aroma of red fruit fruits with energetic palate. Finish was long and linear.

  February 4, 2023 - La Festa del Barolo: Masterclass (and burgers) (The Pool/Grill): Just an embarrassment of riches in the Champagne world at lunch which perhaps makes sense since we only had one bottle and change of the barolo left and 17 people at the table so it did not get very far. This was drinking very nicely as well. A wine that captures your interest.
