August 25, 2008 - We didn't expect much from this price point. I agree with "sfnights". It was a one note. uncomplex wine. Not worth trying again.

    July 4, 2008 - Can't beat the price!

October 22, 2007 - Lacked the structure and concentration of Brunello. Drank more like a Rosso di Montalcino. Decent for the price.

September 14, 2007 - Nice complexity. Cherries, black fruits, cigarette smoke, oak and Asian spice/soy on the nose, also on the palate along with an olive oil texture and slight taste. Soft tannins and acidity - smooth. Seems like it is ready to drink now. Nothing really stood out, everything seemed to blend. My first and only Brunello so I don't know if this is typical or not.
