Community Tasting Notes 11

February 13, 2024 - Very light in colour. Almost translucent.
    Petroleum on the nose.
Again, I think a bit lacking in the mid palate initially on open but actually fills out after some time in the glass. Featherweight on the palate. Picks up a touch of grapefruit with time and air.
But overall good balance. Long finish. Some spices to finish.
Post script: Day 3 this has really filled out and become amazing.

July 8, 2023 - Lemon yellow, clear. Moderately intense nose initially dominated by tdn, opening to be more expressive with white nectarine and lemon zest, later honeyed toast. Searing, puckering acidity, hints of passionfruit with salty lime juice reminiscent of a margherita. Dry, light bodied, moderate length, austere.

June 3, 2022 - Really light dry and sharp. Almost biting a lemon lemon sort of pucker.
Very good just a little on the austere / dry side for me.

April 5, 2022 - Similar to last bottles, high acid, bone dry, a bit sharp, but utterly delicious especially with food. 92
