Flaske no 2136, 100% pinot noir, gogget i 04/21, zero dosage, spontangjæret i gamle fat, modnet på bunnfall i 30 måneder.

February 4, 2024 - This is an excellent blanc de noirs from Marguet. Deep color with just a bit of a pink note at the edge. Nose brings together blood orange, strawberry, grain and some herbal notes. Very focused acidity on the palate and nice fresh apple and orange notes, almost like tart cantaloupe. Great fresh notes in the finish with nuts and brioche. Great development ahead for this.

February 4, 2024 - Drinking reasonably well already though its best days are ahead, the 2016 Les Saints Remys shows a generous strawberry and barley nose with the natural sucrosity that seems to come through in the all of Marguet wines.

June 15, 2023 - Clean, medium golden core, thin watery rim, developing.

Nose is clean, medium intense with aromas of lemon and red apples, red berries, cocktail berries, some autolysis, briocche, chalk, developing

Palate is dry, high acidity, very fine mousse, medium body and alcohol, high dry-extract, medium intensity, aromas of lemon, red apples, pecan or pistacchios, nectar, nougat, croissant, cocktail berries, long finish.

Very well balanced, long finish, quite intense acidity, deep complexity and high concentration. Not the freshest and cleanest champagne i've tasted, very sweet aromas and a bit diffuse/undefined. Very fruity, but hard to find the fruit other than sweet cocktail berries.
