May 4, 2023 - A well made wine - The wine is mature but still fresh - this is 2018 a warm vintage - but still the wine comes across as fresh, elegant and well structured. THe wine has medium- on tannins and clearly a higher acidity - which gives the wine a new balance - the fruit is more dark fruit - you get plums, blackberries and cherries (black). We are clearly also getting menthol and hints of raw leather. The wine has a good aftertaste - you can drink the wine now - you can also wait a bit which I am going to do - happy to give solid 92..
