  March 24, 2009 - Extreme, paint-peeling aromas of tropical fruit, lychee, spice, and clove. Overwhelming flavors of passion fruit and spice on the palate. Geez. Great example of how new world vintners can overdo a delicate style.

  September 1, 2008 - Tons of apple. Mineral in the aroma, and a bit in the taste. Enough tartness to make it refreshing, but not overpowering. Tends to go bad fast with exposure to air and warmth, and shouldn't be kept around for a while opened. Each sip loses fruit and gains sourness. Before it warms up, however, it's absolutely delightful on balance. May buy again, especially at the price, if I need to pour a round for a bunch of people and not have leftovers.
