September 13, 2014 - Much better than the last bottle.

November 8, 2013 - Terroir: Note di ferro, spezie, caramello e sale (iodato). Integro e gradevole, meno elegante del 2006 ma molto bevibile.

February 11, 2013 - Much improved over the first bottle. Fruit shines through a bit more.

June 1, 2009 - Drank with 2002 Ilatraia. Everyone preferred the Ilatraia. This was very good but stilll very tannic. I think more time is needed.

February 25, 2009 - Classic, elegant, polished, delicious... Ready to drink now, does not need long decanting.

(Anttoniolo Gattinara Osso San Grato) #1; COLOR-medium dark; NOSE-right off the bat I get a beautiful fresh strawberry jam component; I get some floral components (beautiful rose petal); I get some subtle secondary pepper; also some onion on the back-end; and rubber band action; pretty nose; TASTE-Holy Crap...this wine is Bringing the Thunder!! this has polish; coats your entire palate; very silky smooth for a massive wine; feeling the dryness; crazy complexities of rose petal; pepperoni; gorgeous strawberry & plum components; radical flavors of black raspberries; engaging and charismatic wine; an amazing wine w/ meats; gorgeous length; explosive; richness; creamy/custard component; so smooth, just pure silk; AWESOME; everything you look for in a classic wine; better than a many Barolos & Barbarescos; exotic, rich, explosive, massive, perfect in a many ways; AG-91; GV-94+
