August 11, 2023 - PnP. Medium dark yellow. Little nose. Reasonable fruit but drying out on the palate; definitely on the down slope. Stuck in the fridge overnight; sometimes these transform with air. Unlikely. Well wrong as usual; this is actually better the next day though still advanced at least at fridge temperature; still losing fruit and oak dominating. (88)

September 22, 2021 - Probably in better shape than the last bottle, actually drinking pretty well for the first 40 minutes. then took a dive. With Dijon Chicken in Seattle. Next day it was undrinkable. Similar notes to the previous one.

November 20, 2020 - Still drinking well. Maybe a bit less fresh than it was in... 2013... any maybe a bit less specific but still a good drink.

May 5, 2020 - Beautiful mature gold color. Still drinking well, complex. I little less heavy than other Kistler chardonnays.

November 2, 2019 - Perfect fill, excellent shape cork, a bit darker gold, clear brilliant color; nose was heady, slight tropical notes at first, yellow peach, apple, sour apple, buttered popcorn, wilting flowers, very nice complex nose at first; silky body, lovely texture, concentrated but not heavy, decent acidity and lift, but got a little bitter in the finish, burned butter, slight sour bitterness. Seemed to take a dive 30 minutes after opening. Had lots of promise, really loved it upon opening, but couldn't finish it, even with the salmon dish. 92 initially, 89 40-50 minutes later.
Clearly this is a great pedigreed wine, has great structure, complexity, but maybe just 3-4 years beyond optimal age of consumption. I have one more and will POUND this wine early on. ;)
