  July 4, 1987 - educational evening with some close friends.: A surprise. This bottle was probably kept under better conditions than the previous bottles I tasted. There was still some fruit in the bouquet. The oak was also evident. A bit dusty. Soft. Even some good tannin. Vanilla and pleasant bitter in the finish. A good wine with a lot of nuances.

  June 6, 1987 - An easy evening with close friends (@ PdV): Carmine with a brown edge. Not really powerful, but certainly a lot of nuances. Soft tannin, good oak. Supple and friendly, but a bit thin.

  December 13, 1986 - Beautiful bouquet with good oak and mainly red fruits. Mature and goes through the whole mouth. Quite much acidity and light bodied. Some tannin as well. Better than last time.

  October 8, 1986 - Mature bouquet with a lot of oak. The wine is complex but thin. Soft and completely mature wine. Very easy and pleasant drinking.

  July 16, 1985 - Dark carmine. Explicit bouquet with good oak, fruit and acidity. Soft tannin, good acidity, mainly red, but also some black fruits. Oak. Medium to long aftertaste. A very good wine.
