February 27, 2016 - What a difference a decade has made. Opens up after an hour. The last bottle bought on release. Medium to full bodied, pale yellow, heavy oak, bitter apple pear with a very long finish for about a minute. Completely different from the previous bottle. I really love aged Bordeaux.

    March 11, 2015 - Somewhat oxidized. Unfortunate - a very nice wine

September 29, 2014 - Pale gold color. Great nose of apple peel, unripe pear and walnuts. Medium-high acidity, medium to full bodied, dry. 45 second finish. This saw a fair amount of wood, and it's apparent in the nutty quality, but integrating quite well. My wife said it reminded her of a full-bodied oaked chardonnay. I had the same thought.

June 14, 2014 - Consistent with last notes, but enjoyed this bottle a bit more than last and upgraded to 92. For $25 purchase.

May 14, 2014 - Color had turned a darker gold yellow. Fantastic nose after 90 minute decant. Honey, pear, floral bouquet. Quite full bodied, with honey straw and clear oak. Oak is really dominating this now. The wine is drinking very nicely and is still acidic and crisp with a nice long finish. Drinking very well but think I should not wait too long to drink the others. Drink over this year - no need to wait.
