  December 3, 2023 - Decanted. Slight improvement over the bottle I consumed 8 months ago in March. Light-moderate aromas/flavors of red fruits and roses, with light-medium tannins that became more apparent over one hour in the decanter. Some enjoyment, but too young. I should follow my own advice and give it several more years: 2027+.

  October 26, 2023 - Degustazione Nebbiolo (Hotel di Varese (Varese)): Colore rosso rubino intenso. Il bouquet è complesso: confettura di frutti rossi, fiori secchi, e note speziate di pepe bianco e menta. Il sorso è pieno e avvolgente, senza perdere in freschezza, sostenuta da una buona acidità. Buona persistenza sul finale.

  July 29, 2023 - Full ruby. Relatively muted nose. Smooth, decent texture, easy drinking but somewhat simple and one dimensional. Little improvement on a bottle last year. Decent enough pizza wine. **1/2

  Cherry, dried herbs, anise. Light to medium bodied, good intensity at this level. Grippy tannins to finish.
  Drinks well days 2 and 3 also. Tannins soften and the wine puts on a bit of weight and depth.
