March 23, 2011 - decanted over 2 hrs while dining at Providence. Drank w/Cheese course. It was perfect. Great balance and texture that was complimented by the cheese. the subtle berries tines went well w/the cheese. Hirby's wines have a special quality.

August 22, 2009 - Decanted two hours, enjoyed over the next three. Fragrant nose, very floral, blackberries, boysenberries, leather. Dusty, smooth, purple fruits (plums, fig, blackberries) dominate the midpalate and finish. Very interesting wine.
