  January 13, 2022 - Fairly simple. Saddle leather and earth with hints of coffee. On the pallatte, the fruit was a little sweeter than I prefer, then with the same notes carrying over from the nose. The wine did not improve or offer anything new thru the evening. Solid effort 91

  September 7, 2020 - Decanted to get it to open as it still seemed a little tight. Floral notes, dark fruits, mountain dirt to it. Medium to heavy on mid palate and 25 second finish. Drank with choclate and that seemed to bring our some spice notes

  September 6, 2020 - well integrated. nose is forrest floor meets dark berry. tannins present but smooth. cocoa, dark fruits, mint. nicely done!

  March 5, 2018 - Big, bold wine. Purposefully served with no food accompanying it. Good on its own and even after three hour decant, still strong and tannic
