August 2, 2010 - Opened for our 24th anniversary after a wonderful Italian dinner at Capone's Cucina in Surf City. Disappointing - not balanced at all - acidity was lacking, which left a cloying taste and feel.

April 4, 2010 - I'm so impressed with Tablas Creek! Open this with a blueberry tart and it was a match made in heaven. Clear golden color, soft sweet nose that's luscious on the palate without being syrupy. Very nicely done and incredible with the blueberry tart!

February 20, 2010 - Luscious desert wine! Great balance of sugars with a complex wine that slides down beautifully.

June 21, 2009 - Tablas Creek / Denner / Hoage; 6/20/2009-6/21/2009 (Templeton, CA): Fresh and concentrated (no kidding) and sweet (really?), complex nose, really great on the palate, only thing is that it's maybe lacking a bit on the finish. ($65)

June 20, 2009 - Buttery, sweet croissant. Tasted at the winery.
