February 5, 2012 - Unfortunately, getting lower on my remaining Dains. This one was just in the right spot right now. Light, red fruit, good acid and balance. I got a good hint of strawberry with some red cherry - seemed a bit of Dr. Pepper. I see in other notes the plum and cola notes. This would make sense for the Dr. Pepper I got. Went well with food - I had a burger and it paired nicely.

April 2, 2010 - We really enjoyed this style. Wonderful nose and a fruity finish that lasted. Very easy drinking alone or with food. I can't see this getting any better so we will drink our other bottle soon.

January 20, 2010 - Deep crimson color, with a rich and warm nose of cinnamon, brown sugar, spice, and almost a smoky/pine/organic aroma going on. The palate is rich, with stewed plummy jam, brown sugar, and lots of rich sugary spices. A delight.
