May 27, 2023 - Poached pear, candied lemon peel, mandarin orange, white peach, barely-ripe pineapple, jasmine, honeysuckle, nutmeg, and crushed rocks. Ripe "sweet" fruit and floral character. Aromatic intensity: M+ (7% Gewurztraminer and 7% Riesling added). Flavor intensity: M+. Acid: M/M+ with a rounded texture, further softened with just a pinch of sugar. Alcohol: M. Body: M+. Dry (5.4 g/l). Very nice, and probably not testable as it is an atypical Pinot Gris.

June 13, 2021 - Pinot Gris Zoom Tasting. Tasted semi-blind myself. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, very pale intensity, lemon colour with green tinge. Thin legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of fresh cut green grass/herbs, green limes, sweet green melons, green pear, steeliness. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity that has a softness dipping to medium level, medium- alcohol (12.5%), medium- body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet green lime, honeydew melon, greengage, green pear, fresh leafy herbs. Clean medium- finish.
A unique Pinot Gris for me. Described by others as full-bodied, but I am not sure why I don't see it that way. Not particularly intense, though certainly there are quite a few things going on on the palate. The key things for me here are the pleasant green fruits, the softness, and the inner sweetness which points to the RS of 5.2 g/l (still in the dry category). Am told that this can age - another question mark for me.
