  September 2, 2022 - I opened a bottle immediately after this arrived, and it was unformed. A year later the pieces have come together, with dominant red fruit supplemented by warm tobacco and chalky, firm tannins. It’s still rather youthfully primary (shocking, I know), but there’s a picture emerging. I only have one left, so will leave it alone for a few years, to let the tannins mellow.

  May 31, 2021 - Dusty red fruit on the nose. Lots of earthiness but little fruit on the palate. Lacks the herbaceous notes that define Cab Franc for me. Well structured and elegant tannins. Should develop a bit over time.

  May 1, 2021 - Foot stamped dirt floor on the nose. Chalky as if you'd licked the facade of a house in Santorini. Almost tertiary and aged notes already. Rustic vibes. A little softer and shorter end. This is not a bad wine at all and I can see it go over well with many - just not my jam. I've never had much luck with Cabernet Franc, gotta be honest. Would love to find one that changes my perception.
