November 1, 2022 - Deep ruby colour.
Intense oak driven nose with notes of vanilla, smoke, cedar and some blackcurrant in the background.
On the palate oak continues to dominate, medium acidity, medium plus tannins, medium body, long finish.
Fruit seems decent but the oak is far too overpowering for me. Potentially better after a long decant or more time in bottle but the oak dominates. -

March 23, 2022 - Very nice zweigelt. Toasty oak, berry fruit, a hint of funk, earthy minerality, lively acidity, medium to mild tannins. Good with bacon, good on its own, got some substance and complexity to it.

March 19, 2022 - Im Glas gedecktes Rubinrot, violette Reflexe, nur zarter Wasserrand bei mittlerer Viskosität. In der Nase Kirsche, Weichsel, dunkle Beeren, Vanille, Leder. Im Mund dichte Tannine, gut gebauter Körper, die Säure gut eingebaut. Wieder die dunklen Beeren, Kirsche, leichte Würzigkeit. Saftig und fruchtig, guter Sortenvertreter. Der Abgang mittellang und saftig. Sortentypisch, leicht zu trinken. Noch jung, braucht etwas Luft. Lagerfähigkeit 5+ Jahre.
