January 9, 2022 - First wine of the trip! A great way to start. Tasted at the Vermeil tasting room in downtown Napa after an 8 hour slow ox with Jaime and Ryan. Beautiful opening nose of cherry and florals with just the slightest whiff of alc but it was gone quickly. Smooth and refined feel to the wine. Blueberry and boysenberry fruit galore with moderate tannins and matching acidity. Well put together and certainly has some upside here of at least 2-3 points I would think.

April 22, 2021 - PNP. Deep dark magenta color. Dark hot chocolate, red currant, and cherry on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying, full bodied palate. Full, grainy tannins on the longish finish.
This was drinking very tight, but there is lots of potential. One more year in the cellar and a three hour decant should have this singing.1 person found this helpful Comments (1)
