December 8, 2022 - No decant, a deep ruby in the glass with a nose of dark fruits, piney resin, a bit of smoke and herbs. Medium bodied on the palate, blackberry, blueberry, a bit of pomegranate, pepper and cedar. Seems to have gained a little weight since I had it at the winery, and will hold my other bottle for a year or two, or give a good decant. Very nice.

June 6, 2022 - Purple in color and opaque in the glass. Aromas of blackberry, iron/blood (sanguine), dried herbs, and pepper on the nose; tastes of blackberry, black cherry, and black pepper on the palate; medium(+) body, medium(+) acidity, and medium(+) tannins; long finish. So good and balanced already!!
