January 1, 2024 - Did not decant. Wine is still in holding strong. The had tropical fruit with petrol and citrus on the palate. The finish was medium once the wine got a little air. I always enjoy trying aged wines to experience their character.

December 22, 2023 - Celebratory pairing. 1) Glenfiddich 23 Year Old Grand Cru 2) 2006 Dom Perignon Champagne 3) 2020 Tenuta San Guido Sassiccaia 4) 1969 Weingut Muller Privat Rheinriesling Spatlese. A selection picked for each person. The Riesling was refreshing and quenching. It was a pleasant surprise.

May 11, 2023 - Good expression of riesling: spice, honey, petrol, with good acidity. It is a bit "thin," but takes on a bit more weight with some air. I don't see much upside to continuing to hold.

November 13, 2022 - On the sweeter end of Spatlese, but very nice with spicy Indian food. No rush - will only improve.

July 17, 2022 - This was interesting. Given the vintage and I, wasn't sure what to expect. There was a bit of sweetness with some petrol and some fruit notes.
