March 28, 2024 - Delicious. Pale golden in the glass, nose of orchard fruits and white floral notes, palate is dry and complex, stone fruits, apricot, nectarines, quince, citrus blossoms, white currant, creaminess mid palate, acidity is bright, body medium +, finish lingers. More please.

June 14, 2023 - Interesting white wine from Lugana, locally called Turbiana.
Light yellow in the glass with mild aromas of lemons, nectarines with hint of floral notes.
On the palate, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with flavor notes reflecting the wine’s aromas.
    Well-balanced acidity with smooth finish.
A very nice white wine produced from a grape variety that is not well-known.

January 20, 2023 - Seemed a little faded vs my previous review, so maybe moving out of drinking window. Not sure these are designed for long shelf life.

August 15, 2022 - Light straw color with a nose of peaches and fresh cut flowers. Surprisingly light body with an opulent texture, appropriate acidity. The brilliant flavor profile of the Turbiana (Turbiano) grape is more similar to an upscale Vouvray Sec than that of the flavors associated with the well known relative Italian varietals Trebbiano and Verdicchio.
This is a wonderful alternative warm weather regional white wine that will further stretch the myriad variances of your awareness of the lesser known white varietals of the world, instead of simply relegating wine buying behavior by continuing to search for any interesting evolution in the long established and well worn “usual suspects.”
Italy’s regional offerings contain many gems made from grapes that are, like this varietal, relatively obscure and untapped. With a little cross-referenced research and using resources such as this excellent forum, along with some experimentation, you will be well rewarded. And please share your exploration and impressions.

June 30, 2022 - At Cafe Zinho, paired with soft shell crabs and striped bass entrees. Could not have been more perfect.
