May 15, 2018 - Drinking better than Coleraine 2005, probably not surprising.

I didn't particularly enjoy the aromas, but the flavour is savoury with a nice richness. No interesting secondary characters, lacks a sexy core of fruit, but for what it is, this is a solid performer.

Enjoy over the next 5 years.

October 25, 2015 - I'm surprised how youthful this wine is. Needs another 5 years to develop aged complexity.

December 20, 2014 - Deep coloured and still very fresh given its age, this wine drank very well and seems it will continue to do so for a good while longer. Lovers of Coleraine should definitely give this a try even just for the sake of comparison.

December 11, 2012 - Dark, almost black with crimson edges. Initially a funky nose, that blew off after about 45 minutes. Earthy, not much fruit, some red cherry and currant. I remember it being better, fuller, seemed thin but had good tannin on the finish. Can't see it getting better with age, drink it up!

January 27, 2012 - Dark purple, almost black hue. Interesting nose of olives, black licorice and vanilla. Earthy, chewy palate full of plums and quite Bordeaux like. Well worth the price as its surprisingly complex. Tannic but well balanced.
