  August 24, 2023 - Ripe and rich. Plenty of oak but nicely integrated. Very Penfolds. Drinking well now but will mature nicely over the next 5 years or so

  June 8, 2023 - Deep and complex nose of ripe cherries, plums, vanilla oak, dark chocolate and toasted star anise and cinnamon. Delicious dense nose. The palate has tons of freshness, not heavy or creamy despite the intensity of the fruits and spices in the full-bodied structure. Polished. Already good balance after half an hour in the decanter. Smooth transitions from entry to a lingering and spicy finish. Young but with good potential to age beautifully for another 3-5 years if you can wait. But this is already improved significantly compared to 2 years ago.
