November 12, 2022 - Pale lemon colour. Full on varietal aroma, bright and clean with plentiful sweetness. Despite the name I was informed it's "off dry" but I'm not sure I'd go that far. Still, it has a lovely purity and juiciness. Not quite as good as better Kabinetts for me, but nice and tasty. Decidedly overpriced, however. [Screwcap; 12.5% abv; Woodwinters, £27].

August 13, 2022 - Pale yellow colour, smells of quince and gooseberry, medium body, has a little bit of residual sugar, so not completely dry, in the mouth quince and gooseberry, has a nice creaminess, second glass has a nice, medium acidity, in the aftertaste quince, gooseberry and acidity, good length (15 sec), good Riesling, but overpriced at 14 Euros.

April 29, 2022 - A private lunch at Berry Bros. & Rudd (The Townhouse, No 3 Pickering Place): With cured seabass on blood orange escabeche with green olives. Very energetic dry Riesling, comfortable with the acidity of the blood orange. Really brought out the creaminess of the seabass - that was a great match
