November 7, 2021 - "Brunch is the gamay of meals" Vol. 2 (Chicago, IL): From magnum. Not sure what this bottling actually is, but it's pretty damn tasty, especially after a line up of pretty hipster new-wave champagnes that I have to admit I don't particularly care for. Sweet apples and pears, with a bit of sweet brioche on the midpalate through to the finish (this champagne has a finish -- unlike those hipster ones). Not too complex, but the sweetness of the fruit here makes this much more enjoyable.
