May 4, 2024 - Very elegant and pinot-like rendition of Sangiovese unlike any other version I have previously had, although the relationship with the 2020 CC is not hard to see.

It is really red berried and fresh, with red cherries, strawberries and orange. It’s in the long aftertaste more complexity comes to my mind - tar, roses, mint and minerality. It makes me think of Giulia Negris La Morra Barolos but with a lighter structure. I love those wines and I seem to love Carleone’s wines as well.

Not sure this is worth the extra money over the Chianti Classico though, but it’s worth the money compared to most other things for sure!

I wonder how it will age? Will keep my second bottle to find out.

April 27, 2024 - Really lux nose of cedar, bright red cherry, pomegranate, anise, a touch of allspice and white pepper - really fancy.
Red fruit leads on the attack with laser like delineation followed by the spice elements before silky fruit comes back on the finish. Wonderfully exciting and balanced wine

April 14, 2024 - Light, transparent, ruby in color. Nose of tart cherry, rosemary and dried herbs, and macerated strawberry. On the palate, medium bodied, medium-plus tannins, dry, medium acidity, medium-minus alcohol.
Flavors of dried cranberry, tart cherry, dried herbs, cured meat.
Very delicate, with lots of finesse. But still has great structure. Fantastic wine and highly recommended

March 24, 2024 - Second time popping one of these just confirms I really love this wine. On the nose you might mistake it for a crunchy whole cluster Pinot, but the palate and structure is Sangiovese. Nice bouquet of crunchy red berries and violets. A unique IGT sangiovese wine made in the heart of Chianti. A nice refreshing take on a classic varietal in a classic region

Will be interested to see where this goes with age as I believe it will continue to improve for several years. But it's drinking well now
