November 27, 2023 - This was a puzzle, maybe bad bottle. Definitely not pop and poor. Started slightly off and sharp though improved remarkably after 24 hours decant. I never decant that long though was left over from thanksgiving dinner as not being drunk so gave it a try the next day. The wine had mellowed and was enjoyable. Minimum fruit an tannin.

Extremely sad that an expensive bottle was flawed.

October 2, 2021 - Pop and pour. This is a super delicious, crowd-pleasing cult Cab with a silky and viscous body, notes of dark chocolate, cassis, coffee, lemon peel. Medium finish. Very different from the 2013 at this moment but both fabulous.
