  December 11, 2022 - "I drank all the Giz" (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. For the amount of oak and the ripeness of the fruit here, thin on the palate. More black than red fruit; tannic and bitter. Guessed that this was a 20-year-old cold vintage Napa cabernet.

  It smells like prune and strawberry jam. It tastes like rose. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

  August 14, 2022 - This bottle is drinking well now. Good spice and fruits. It opened up rather quick but drank well into the next day. This is a nice change of pace wine from DuMol

  April 3, 2022 - Pop and pour. In the glass, medium purple at the rim, shading to dark magenta at the core. On the nose, plums, currants, and a faint hint of smoke; on the palate, more of the same. Not much in the way of secondary aromatics or flavors, but that ends up being part of the charm - when I think "house wine", this is the kind of wine I'm imagining.
