September 11, 2008 - still drinkable. Fading. Not too oakey.

March 31, 2008 - While I opened this a little past its "prime" it nonetheless was smooth and crisp to the end. Paired it with dover sole a la meuniere and it was sublime. Honeysuckle and peach on the palate. It puts most chards to shame IMHO.

March 10, 2007 - We found this Club Cuvaison gem in our cellar, much to our surprise (We thought we had sucked it down a couple years ago) and opened it tonight to marry with pan seared wild Florida pink prawns blanketed with a chive butter sauce, fingerling potato and arugula sald (From this month's issue of Gourmet -- an A+ dish), and fresh green beans in an almond brown butter sauce. Upon opening, my wife and I both thought the bottle was corked. After a few minutes in the stemware, it mellowed, and we were treated to overtones of honey, carmelized pear, butter, and honeysuckle. Now five years old, we're probably consuming it in its prime, but it fared nicely with our meal.

October 26, 2006 - Flavors of fig, oak and buttery malolactic residue. Nose a little closed, maybe some gardenias and oak. As good as any Cuvaison Chardonnays I have had recently.
