April 27, 2023 - This will not disappoint. 6 hour decant. Blue fruit and plums with tobacco and milk chocolate. Full-bodied and downright delicious. Extra Long finish with graphite.

February 15, 2023 - Drank for Valentine's Day with Steak filets. Decanted for 8 hours. I'm not the biggest fan of deep heavy Cabs, and I was curious how this would match up against the Cabs I've had in the past. This was very different from some of my previous experiences with Cabs and is the best Cab I've had to date! Like other notes, the palate was full of medium to dark berries with a lingering taste of black cherry, cedar wood, and anise. This was smooth like velvet with a long finish that kept going and going. I wanted more complexity here, but I think that's more of my wine preference than the wine itself. This will improve with long cellaring, but if you open one now, give it a long decant. 94-95 today

October 27, 2022 - Drank alongside a '19 Quivet LPV. Both bottles were probably opened too soon. But both have been getting excellent scores and so we decided to give a try. Give this air if opening now. We only gave it 2 hours of air and I think 8 would have been better as it was still getting better at the end of the evening. I will wait a few years before going back to this one as I think it will be a stunner in '24-'25. This got 1 extra point over the Quivet for its mouthfeel - dark sweet fruits with great balance, velvety tannins and long lingering finish.

July 29, 2022 - If there was a perfect wine, this is as close as you’re gonna get. Decanted 8 hours. Wonderful bouquet of chocolate, cherries, bell pepper, charcoal. Fruit is surprisingly integrated and the finish goes on for miles. Goes with a lot of foods, but the pairing is perfect with steak.

    June 28, 2022 - This is not a tasting note -- it's a question for this forum:
Are you purchasing the 2020 Carter and Myriad lineups that are coming out shortly? I don't know what to do as most Vintners are not releasing wines from the same vineyards. Not just because of the Glass Fires, but because of the haze over the valley for several months.

Any feedback would be appreciated. I did load up on 2019 in general assuming that nobody would be releasing 2020, but here they come!
