August 11, 2014 - Deep glass staining ruby garnet color. Bosomy nose of blackberries and leather. Typical rich Aussie mouthfeel; blackberries and black rubber on the palate with a hint of cocoa and soft tannins on the medium long finish. Solid.

November 17, 2013 - very big red fruit, not much tanins, very smoth - vintage 2005 - I think it was a Little bit over his Peak, but still very good

April 22, 2011 - Very good - jam, oak and pepper on the nose; full red jam on the palate, smooth tannins; medium-long finish. Just a touch hot. My palate is moveing away from Aussie-style Shiraz - a year ago I would probably have given this a 90-plus.

February 3, 2011 - Straight blueberry and blackberry fruit in this. Has a very high yummy factor. Nothing too complex but enjoyable. Seems to diminish on the finish a bit. ($12)

  • anubis Likes this wine: 90 points

November 27, 2010 - Fair bit of fruit, well balanced and long in the mouth with a very small amount of tannins. Has at least 2 years of development left and lots of time after that to drink. [cork, 13.5% ALC]
