May 20, 2022 - Color was beautifully light red/pale ruby and very transparent.

Nose was very fruit-forward and all about the red berries. Strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and red cherry with some forest floor, licorice and a bit of toasted oak. Feels light with a bit of powerful backbone.

Palate was really just a complete mirror of the nose. Both the red berries, the forest floor, the licorice and the toasted oak but it also had a little bit of herbal/medicinal note in the finish on the back of the tongue.
Great acidity and medium-soft tannins at this point that you don’t feel much.
A good intro to Givry but nothing truly special.
