March 27, 2024 - Drank over 4 nights - a bit tightly coiled and just mineral at first, then opened to reveal pretty floral and fruity notes. Nothing super complex but this is still one of the greatest values in the world of wine!

February 13, 2024 - Third bottle of six, I last drank this 30 months ago. As with my previous bottle, this young wine shows heavy petrol to a fault, overshadowing anything pleasant in the nose. Strong green-citrus acidity on the palate, but still a limp overall profile. This rendition is not showing much promise.

February 3, 2024 - Pretty weird that I didn't mention a stale bread sponti note in previous notes, as this element feels totally consistent with past experiences...

The stale bread thing fades a bit, and turns to a capricious complex of yeasted donut, raw meat and chalk, while sweet lime, white peach and fresh green herbal notes open up... almost full-bodied, this is intensely textured and gloriously shimmery on the palate, also so very herbal and yeasty, and decidedly savory and salty... Finish is at once fresh and zippy, thick and silky, cutting and grippy, and that unforgettable lovely savory yeasty/bready thing builds as everything else fades. Brilliant wine, worth following another 5 to 7, but I should expect it to continue to build significantly on the savory elements...

October 12, 2023 - Really delicious stuff - bit of petrol on the nose, but the palate is all white peach, slate, citrus with a nice zip of acidit6y. Great mix of flavors here.

Excellent stuff and an outstanding value.

September 17, 2023 - As usual this wine doesn't disappoint and represents awesome value. Really nice fruit profile (tending towards pear, peach, lime zest, fruit candy), slate minerality, white flowers. Acidity not quite as fierce as I expected and that's probably the '20 vintage showing.
