Community Tasting Notes 2

July 27, 2022 - Pale straw color. Long legs. Fragrant nose of lemon tart, fresh grass, watercress, creek smells. Focused acidity, somewhat tannic, crab apples, crunchy nectrarine, young grapes. Very bright, green, and mineral. Tastes of spring/early summer. Slightly chalky. Long finish. Interesting wine. Would be fun to pair with Baja style fish tacos, corn, cabbage. Nice bbq wine. Reminds me of a dry Vino Verde. At $22, not a great value but a well made wine with a unique flavor profile.

15 months on the lees in stainless

    Tropical fruit on the nose
    Chalky on the palate
    Light floral note too
