Geruch: Sauber. Mittlere Aromen von Vanille, Brot, Toast, Rauch vom Holz. Erste Reifenoten.
Geschmack: Trocken, mittlere Säure, Alkohol 12.5%, voller Körper mit mittleren Aromen von Zitrone, Grapefruit, Rauch. Mittel (+) Abgang
Schlussfolgerung: Sehr gute Qualität. Der Wein hat Länge, Komplexität und eine schöne Balance. Kann getrunken werden, wird sich mit der Lagerung noch verbessern. Deutlich Barrique, Frucht sehr im Hintergrund.1 person found this helpful Comment -

September 29, 2023 - PnP. Paired with cheese board.
Heavy on the Sauv Blanc characteristics up front. More fruit - white peach, tropical, and some grassy notes came in as it warmed up.
Great QPR. May grab a few more bottles to hold. -

July 6, 2023 - Picked up out of town same day to pair with fish. Really nice wine mix of citrus and stone fruit. High acidity, but with good body and finish.

June 29, 2023 - Clos Floridene's 2020 Blanc is a light golden blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Sémillon and 1% Muscadelle, fermented and aged for nine months in neutral French oak barriques. Popped and poured, it is immediately expressive of green apples, white peaches, lemon verbena, jasmine and wet stones. Medium-bodied, vibrantly acidic and without detectable alcohol (12.5%), it delivers a gustatory payload that is in line with the aromas, adding a very subtle note of oak. Solid in the middle and concluding with good length, this is an impressive white Bordeaux at a terrific price. Well-cellared bottles should provide pleasure for another four or five years. Drink now-2028.
