February 16, 2024 - Picked this up at Costco for a steal. A really nice smooth wine. Beautiful natural cork, very deep red in the glass. Quite a bit of fruit but not over powering. Slow ox'd in the bottle for a few hours and it was very nice right now.

February 1, 2024 - Pop and pour, obviously you would want to decant this for a few hours if possible, cassis, pencil lead and tobacco on the nose, big and rich, dry, youthful, structured well with fine tannin and balanced acidity, flavors of blackberry, black cherry, mint and earthy mineral, long finish, still integrating the alcohol and elements but really nice now with grilled steak, good value in this day and age

January 11, 2024 - Opened last night. Big, bold wine, packed with dense, dark fruit. Perhaps a bit one-dimensional at the moment, I think it will blossom beautifully with time in the bottle. Give it ten years. High quality, no doubt, at a nice price. 5-12-16-9: 92/100.

November 29, 2023 - Deep dark reddish-purple garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with earthy/dusty & floral overtones, spices, leather, cocoa/coffee, minerals, anise, herbs, smoke & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & cassis with spices, cocoa, herbs, minerals & oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but will develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+).

November 28, 2023 - Pale ruby in color, the wine is bone dry, acid is medium but lively, tannins grippy but balanced, alcohol is medium high, minerality present, finish long and complex.

Aromas of black berries, cassis, leather, vanilla, tobacco and herbaceous qualities, notely licorice.

On the palate, creamy balanced fruits and luxurious tannins fill my palate with blackberries, vanilla, tobacco, and leather. Cassis and currants. Complexity here in the form of oak, and herbaceous licorice and thyme.
