  April 14, 2024 - This wine is quite nice, especially for the closet out price I paid of $20. It is very complex, with honeyed pear and green apple and zippy acidity to balance that out, plus nice minerality.

  April 20, 2023 - An interesting contrast to the Morgen Long Pink Label 2019 that we had last week: Where the Morgen Long is reductive and incisive, this is more oxidized, with a pear-flavored softness and a strong note of honey that suggests sweetness, even though the wine is fully dry. The Morgen Long style, with enough age, is more to our liking, but this was a very tasty and popular aperitif. For dinking now.

  April 13, 2023 - Pale yellow color, tropical fruit, minerality, sweet grain and rich floral note. Sweet in nose, and acidic in palate. For me, it reminds me of some nice bottles from Jura, such as chardonnay from domaine du pelican. Really nice food wine, as it goes well with any kind of fish.
