April 6, 2024 - Extraordinary and different Spanish red. An incredible expression of mencia with richness, jammyness and depth. Needed 3 hours decanting, long slightly spicey finish with all the black berry fruits present. I think this is the best of the raoul perez red wines………
Looking forward to trying the 2020 but sadly these wines are now discovered and prices increasing!!

December 29, 2023 - Very dry, salty, wet rock-type flavors with deep, tart fruit (boysenberry?) and a generous dash of spices. Licorice and tarragon after a spell. A long, pepper finish. Smells like a berry bush, tastes like a pie. I'm not super familiar with Raul Perez's offerings, but this makes me want to learn more.

June 16, 2023 - A complex andd savory nose with black and stone fruits, soil, iron and iodine on the nose. Ferrous. It's structured and deep, savory and soil more than fruit driven. Still quite young but with promise. White pepper. Tar Violet on the back end. It's deep and sapid with excellent length and tannin acid balance.

May 7, 2023 - Very nice - huge nose of berries and herbs. Like a burgundy
