  April 2, 2024 - Beautiful Chardonnay-based wine with a lot of character thanks to Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer being part of the blend. Rather than being a burgundy copycat, this clearly has its own identity. Elegant, floral but with wonderfully nuanced tropical notes. Great acidity despite the relatively high ABV. The slight heat on the finish prevents even higher merits but this is a standout wine and worth seeking out.

  Tolle Chardonnay dominante Cuvee mit Gewürztraminer und Sauvignon Blanc. Dichter, cremiger Wein mit deutlichen Kirchenfenstern im Glas. Durch Sauvignon und GT erhält er eine erstaunlich tropisch fruchtige Seite und wirkt wie ein LKW mit 10.000 PS. Im Mund viel Terroir Aromen, gepaart mit blumigen, gelben Früchten. Der Abgang zeigt dann eine ordentliche Länge und seinen primären Chardonnay Charakter. Für mich einer der besten Weißen aus Südtirol. Darf gerne karaffiert werden, war am Ende aus der Karaffe noch ein Stück ausdrucksstärker in der Breite.

  December 29, 2022 - Solid performance of chardonnay with an edge. This has tons of minerality and citrusmarmelade. Great concentration and rich mouthfeel yet never cloying. It is vibrant and fresh with a lingering finish of green and yellow fruits. Needs a little bit of air to come around and larger glasses helps. Keep the temperature in check (on ice) as the alcohol becomes more noticeable with higher temps and you can feel it looses its vibrancy with temperature increase. Leagues ahead of other Alto Adige chardonnays.

  September 27, 2022 - Two Months in Roma; 9/6/2022-10/28/2022 (Rome, Italy): From the wine list at Il Goccetto, Rome. Beautiful sunny day 73 degrees outdoor table with shade - smoking wine - a perfect afternoon! Nose is quite aromatic particularly on swirling. Great balance and concentration here lots to linger over- really enjoyed.
